LITERATURE VERSUS TRAFFIC
Imagine stumbling onto a street lit by books, a veritable traffic jam of illuminated manuscripts? This is the stuff that lit-lovers' dreams are made of, but for one night the dream came true. Specialists in temporary public art installations, Luzinterruptus took their talents from Madrid to Manhattan, where their plans were foiled and displaced to Dumbo, under the Brooklyn Bridge. Water Street was the site of an eight-hundred-book spill. Would that more streets were paved with such stories.
