Ευχαριστημένοι, αρκετά θα έλεγα….Αν αναλογιστείς ότι πέτυχες το θερμό χειροκρότημα από μια μητέρα που είχε ‘συρθεί’ εκεί μην έχοντας ιδέα τι θα ακούσει και καμία επαφή με το είδος της μουσικής. ’Τελικά αξίζει να αγοράζεις καμιά φορά δισκάκια’ Ε.
Προσπαθώντας να δώσει δικό της στίγμα η Ελένη Τζαβαρα, πήρε τον χρόνο της μετά την αποχώρηση από τους Film. Στις αρχές Νοεμβρίου του ‘09 κυκλοφορεί το “I know you ‘re behind me but i m not scared”. Τα χέρια στην παραγωγή βάζουν οι Coti K. και Μ.Δελτα. Παρόλο που σου μοιάζει σαν ηλεκτρονική καταιγίδα, έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί τα πλέον απλά και βασικά wav στα kicks, percs και snares. Έτσι δυναμώνουν οι συνθέσεις. Οι απόλυτα ερμηνευτικές στιγμές της Etten και τα βίαια ξεσπάσματα. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι μια απίστευτη ομοιογένεια που μας έκανε να αγαπήσουμε το άλμπουμ και το χθεσινό live το απέδειξε.

Έρχεται το τρίτο Pecha Kucha

Mε εκπροσώπους από ολόκληρο το φάσμα της ελληνικής δημιουργίας, η τρίτη βραδιά Pecha Kucha στην Αθήνα είναι γεγονός!


Αψηφώντας το δημοσιονομικό έλλειμμα, αγνοώντας το υπέρογκο δημόσιο χρέος και φυσικά… με μεγάλο αίσθημα ευθύνης η ομάδα του Pecha Kucha Athens, φέρνει μία ακόμα βραδιά Pecha Kucha στο φιλόξενο κοινό της Αθήνας.
Στο χώρο του Interni στο Γκάζι, την Παρασκευή 5 Μαρτίου, εμπνευσμένοι δημιουργοί, εικαστικοί, ηθοποιοί, σκηνοθέτες, συγγραφείς, σεναριογράφοι, προγραμματιστές, αρχιτέκτονες, σχεδιάστριες μόδας και άλλοι περιθωριακοί θα προσπαθήσουν να μας συναρπάσουν παρουσιάζοντας αυτά που τους ενδιαφέρουν με μόλις 20 εικόνες x 20 δευτερόλεπτα στη διάθεσή τους.
Το τρίτο Pecha Kucha θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 5 Μαρτίου 2010, στο χώρο του Interni, Ερμού 152, Γκάζι (δίπλα από το αμαξοστάσιο του ΗΛΠΑΠ στο Γκάζι – μετρό: Κεραμεικός)

markus leitsch: coat & suit

'Coat’, 2008 (cowhide, resin) austrian artist markus leitsch uses animal hides and furs in a series of works which explore the human body. in ‘coat’ leitsch uses a cow hide soaked in resin to create a mold of his body lying on the ground.

The Rocking Hot Dog

For the London's design festival



A neutral review of the Rocking hot dog quickly leads to banalities,which may actually be the strong point of this work.It lacks the persuasive quality,however,of creations by the likes of Jeff Koons.The kitschy,prosaic hot dog obviously begs for a comparison to Koons,but Koons not only gave us 'originals'he also knew hoe to imbue his work with shock power.The Rocking Hot Dog is a cross between semi-functional object and work of art.

fashion VS art

The Lucy and Bart collective are made up of British Lucy McRae and Dutch Bart Hess who met at Philips Design, working in a far future design research programme. They describe their work as an instinctual stalking of fashion, architecture, performance and the body. Translated to physical pieces, the duo use unexpected materials like foam, shards of wood and even balloons to create mindblowing ensembles that do much to distort the body.

KNIT PUNK

Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery are now into their fourth collection and after creating unique pieces like the knitted biker and the destroyed denim jacket in yarn, they now bring you their extreme knitted monster. It begins with a raffia mohican hat and then carries on in a Fairisle pattern dotted with skulls and Frankensteins, that makes this one lovable creature. The rest of the collection carries this Scary Fairisle pattern as well as other unexpected elements.
